MPS is owned by  Maikel Mast. I have 13 years experience in real estate. After my study Business Administration at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam I started my career in real estate. 

 I started as Account Manager in Property Management at Savills ( I was Responsible for the commercial, administrative and technical management of commercial real estate. This function has laid a good foundation for me to assess operational risks. For example, the importance of an adequate (service charge-) administration, the technical condition of a building and level of tenant satisfaction. 

After that I moved to the Agency department of Savills. I was responsible for the letting of office and industrial space. In this position I have advised my clients on the leasing strategy and negotiated the terms and conditions of the leases. My aim is to achieve the maximum (financial) result, without losing sight of the long-term relationship with the tenant and/or landlord and keep their interests in mind.

In 2006 I moved to Savills Investments as Investment agent. In this position I was responsible for the purchase and sale of offices and industrial real estate.

I was responsible for the negotiation and execution of transactions. During the negotiations of the LOI and the Sales/Purchase Agreement I always try to to achieve the maximum for the interest of my client. During the due diligence I act as link between the various due diligence teams and have a guiding role. 

An important part of my job was to analyse buildings / portfolios (SWOT) and translating them into a value for the benefit of a hold / sell decision. The assessment of rents, letting and creative thinking about how to add value are essential. For example, create a theme / identity to a building, think about alternative functions or respond to a specific requirement in that location (eg. health care, student housing, data centres, logistics etc.).
